I know I have sent you a few e-mails on this and have not received any responses, but I am asking again anyway because I would really like your input on these as I am very interested in putting a pair of Neo3PDR's in my car. I know you have said in the past that these have some problematic installation issues. If you could expound on that, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have any advice on how to mount them in a 300ZX (I have the same kind as what you had) it would also be appreciated. Thanks.

They sound great, but the probelm was imaging issues. It was hard for me to get a nice stage with them- had them in the kicks and in the pillars, but I never could get a decent stage with them...it all sounded very layered and stratisfied. Some of that probably could have been due to tuning issues too...but to me tweeters up high in most cars don't sound natural at all- the exception being Scott Buwalda's 240SX. If you get them, you might want to do what Scott does in his car if you mount them in the pillars- he crosses the tweeters over really high, around 4k hertz and uses them for spacial clues and has the midbasses playing up that high. To pull this off will take some time getting the listening height right, kicks aimed right, tweeters aimed right, and getting the crossover points, time alignment, and gains right.

Only recieved one email from you in the midst of my inbox being overflooded with responses from me selling equipment...it may have been deletelyon accident cleaning some of those up.

hm, well I think I will just try the Neo3's in a home setup I am contemplating. I just found out about these, if you have heard them and could give some feedback; they are the Seas Lotus CT25AF001 tweeter that is meant for automotive use. Anyone heard these?
