When in operation one of my DEI 1100d's puts out a significantly high pitched electronic noice supposedly. This is my first of 2 dei 1100d's. Is there a rhyme or reason for this guys? My installer said yes, if you popped the trunk and had your sub amps running you would hear it and be pissed.
So I take his word.
2nd question, how do you get dual operation of the amps? We cannot get it to put out sound to the subs. I think we need more testing to do, but my installer I think is slightly confused as to how to hook the 1100d's up to 2 subs. He read the manual and still couldnt figure it out. The whole master / slave / sync out, bridge out, etc. So fella's, throw me ideas. thanks
I went and checked the problem out myself to hear exactly whats up. And yeah, this is my synposis of what its like. Not only does the amplifier put a high pitched noise out, but you can feel something on the sub. The sub doesnt move or make any noise , only noise to be heard is the high pitched wheeen or whine that is suddle to the ear, yet annoying. So yeah, Im not sure if it makes a diff, but you can feel the left and the right sub and the right sub just feels "normal", while the left one is....odd....
Could my amp be shot? I had this 1100d powering a 15L7 until the coils blew, but the amp is otherwise great condition. Connection issue im praying.......
