Anybody know if a D-3 will run on a 16 volt system? and if so what ohm load is it being ran at.

I only know of one person to successfully do it. Nate Kaiser. He did it in No Wall last year. Crazy power I guess......6 K each I think.

wasn't nate only using 14 volt setup last year?

I know atleast with D2's you don't gain anything over 15.5. IMO it just makes the amp more unstable

It was 16. I was just like 2 stall down from him at Finals. I talked with him for about 20 minutes on this. I think it was a trojan type 8 volt.

I had no problem with my amps at 16 volt.I ran them at 0.7 ohm. and lower, with not one problem.

Speak to Andu in this thread he has run them 16v @ 0.5 ohms.

he was testing at 1 ohm for each amp, id like to see if anyone has done 16 volts-d3-.5 ohms that way i know if im going to be ok or not
