how low of an ohmload can these be dropped down to on a 12 volt(street max)setup for burps?
we have them at 0.8 ohm now but are only getting 2200 out of each [Frown]
these amps are fully modded , got them of the SickBastard team

any ideas will be great

They REALLY need the 16-17 volt setup to open up. They do work well at 12 volts and such, but they are meant for the higher voltage systems. Just something I've noticed form the rest of the guys...

yea i know they need the voltage but thats kind out in street max 1-2 [Frown] just trying to work with what we got right now

On a 12volt setup we found they work best at 1ohm

oh yea ? what was your impendence rise? and how low of an ohm load did you test it at?

well you havce done better than i have! i couldn't even get mine to burp very well off of a 12volt setup, at any impedence from .35ohm to 4ohm! and it's modded.

Doesn't matter now, i will be running them at 17volts anyway. goodluck.,

Yeah it seems that some visonik 4000xd seem to cut back there power on 12volt setups while others burp no problem, it's kinda confusing!


If you can get them to burp at .5ohm they do do more power at 12volt from our tests

sounds great. when ever it stops raining im going to drop the ohmload down on 1 amp and do a power test, if it works out then ill just get a new lower ohm sub [Big Grin]

Mine worked best at .7 ohm. Old Street A setup. (Street B now)
Anything lower and I began to lose efficiency.
