About two weeks ago I posted about having 4ga. wires to my capacitor, but 8ga. to my amp(JBL 1200.1). Now, when I turn it all the way up, it cuts out, but when I turn down a little, it's fine. Is it because of the 8 ga. wires? Please help.

I have a deep cycle optima yellow top battery and my stock 83amp alt.

How big is the amp, and how far away from the battery is it?

Double check all the connections, especially the ground... Bigger IS better!
