No audible clipping is heard, and the clipping indicators on the amps don't blink. I got the gains to 8/10 on the dial for both amps, the amps get warm to touch.

Head Unit is faded +7 to front speakers, to compensate for bass. Volume can be maxed out to 35, and its 95% clear on most of my CD's. When volume is maxed, there is very slight dimming on instrument panel. I can't tell, but friend says there's dimming. 1/0 wire under the hood really helps, I no longer need to use my cap.

It's been 3 years since I last played with my old and current setup(still trying to obtain funds for a new setup, donations are appreciated [Big Grin] ).

I am really curious about the maximum threshold of my amps. Should I turn the gains up?

I think I'll just leave it as it is, and wait a while till I hit the Megabucks [Wink] (maybe my tuition money will go to good use)
