im lookin to get an optidrive 1000D but its refurbished. amps seem pretty simple, its all just components, but can u trust them? its got a 1 year warranty.

yes, because all problems that refurbs will have will happen right away so you dont have to worry about warranty issues. as for refurbs, think about this, they had more time to inspect it, check it, test it, and replace any problematic parts with good ones. They just took all the guessing away from you. you would now have an amp that has been tested fully to see if it does what its supposed to do. but like i said, any refurb amp that didnt getted fixed properly will have problems very shortly, as did my warranty repaired alpine mrv-1507. each time i got it back it fried within 5 minutes. after 3 failed attempts to fix the amp properly, they replaced it with a new one.

the amp may have cosmetic damages, so depending on that i would, functional amp is a functional amp, although i think it is safe to say we all perfer absolute brand new.
