Hey Blu,
On another post a guy asked the samething, he was told to contact MTX. They'll give you the info.
Best of luck to you.

you need two lsx-2's do combine the amps.(i think thats the model #) you have to invert one input signal 180 degrees and run the other normal. then you use both positives on each amp. the amp that has the inverted signal is the negative.

Hey JB...is there any comps over there in Spokane?? I talked to Matt on AIM and he told me there's gonna be 6 this year. BTW, I also had a 1000D MTX amp and needless to say, MTX couldn't get it to "work" at all...so I got something else instead.

i lost the other two 81000d's to a friend, someone else needs them too so i now i only got the two like i had before. What to u guys think of the ebc control is it worth my time to hook up and use if i have the alpine 7893 head. i have been told before that if you have sub control in your head unit then the ebc is pointless is this true. thanks

Any processor with an inverted out can be used, not just the MTX "Black Box".

The Crossfire bridging modules designed for the old CFA 1000D work fine also.

The old MTX 1000Ds can be bridged togther using their internal phase jumpers.

I heard a rumour (and that's all so far), that you not only starp the MTX amps, but there might be a way to wire two of them in parallel as well. You are going to want to talk to their tech department before attempting this though.. 1-800-call-mtx

Dave:
Just to touch up on this subject that you are misquoted on this matter. Only two amps can be daisy chained together and yes on the 81000D's you need to use a phase inverter. The new 1501D's you don't need any phase shifter b/c they are built into the amp.

Thanks Chad, being an electronics nerd, I couldn't figure out a way to do it safely (in my head), which I why I figured that referring them to you was the safest bet.

Nice to see that the laws of physics haven't changed over the past week or two...

well mtx tec, you are not on your game in the knowledge fest...yes you can....what would happen if you exactly matched via scope the input gains on both the neg amps and the pos,,,amps....i have been told at audio thunder that indeed its been done....and to clarify the lsb1 thing...what happened to the inverted plug on the inside of the amp...does it still exist like on the 1000ds
