i did it tonite, i cut the cords and spliced in the end of the other cord. yes, it works. But even with the car not running (so not alt noise) there is a very very faint whine in the subs. unplug the control, and it goes away. I'm not sure why this would be...not even sure how this can induce noise....but it does. i am going to try insulating the wires from each other more and see what happens.

I am not familiar with these amps at all....but, If the knob thingy controls input...maybe that cable you cut was sheilded? Could be a possibility. If it was just make the sheild connections on the "split" ends...let us know what happens

no idea if this would work.. but the phoenix gold site tells you how to use one lpl for multiple amps... they might be similar.. you never know.. download this.. http://www.phoenixgold.com/pdfs/LPL.pdf
