I am looking to run 2 Rockford 1500bd's linked together at a 2 ohm load.
The voltage will be more than adequate and it will be strictly for 3 second burps.
Looking for anyone with any experience with linking 2 of these amps together and what kind of impedence they are happy at for burps.

and hope for them to stay on you may need to walk the vol up slow to keep them on or mod the amp

They will easily handle a 2ohm bridged load. I've had my pair strapped on a 2ohm load for over six months and never had a problem and that's with just an extra Optima in back, before I installed a HO alt. They bumped everyday and would do 153's on the dash everytime with my old set-up.

Go 2ohm, you won't be sorry.

It would have to be 4 ohm so that each amp sees a 2 ohm load.
