does anyone know if SPL dynamics are associated with memphis because there amps look identical except for name tag??

Well memphis doesn't actually build their own amps.. they contract it out to another company, that brand maybe made in the same factory, just badged different for a different company.. (just because they look the same doesn't mean their the same on the inside though)

Probably not the same amps. If you recall, the original Memphis Belle used the same heatsink as the Soundstream Reference series.

Well to answer the first question is yes they are the same amp. They are made by Chunglam of Korea. The only difference is the nameplate stuck on the top of amp.
