Im about to order after christmas my subs an amp. If i could go with the Lanzar it would open up a lot of stuff for me, but im concerned that the amp wil go bad like some i have heard. i hear some say its bad and others say they never have had problems with it. This amp would open soo many things for me, all ow me to afford expensive subs i have always wanted but i dont want to have good subs and a crappy amp. Should i just go with the 1200d or not?? If you really doubt it that much, as I do as well since it is a Lanzar. Then why not just get something a tad bit more expensive; something that has a very good rep and is better than the Lanzar. This amp is the JBL bp1200.1 and can be had for about 50-100 bux more. I am pretty sure you will be hppy with the amp. It is all over ebay for 299 and the last time I saw the price of a Lanzar it was about 230. So if I were you go for the JBL instead and that should be able to still keep you somewhat in the range of spending the money you want to on expensive subs. Mind you, I have no idea what you want to spend on subs and how much money you plan to spend totally>>>>>>

the lanzar does seem to be a good amp. i know the vibe 230 is a hella good amp for the cash. but i know the jbl 1200.1 is a very very capable amp.
so if u can afford to do the 70 extra bucks i would do the jbl and still get the good subs.

well i heard the vibe 1200d in person recently against a old ppi art series 600.2 and it killed the ppi, i garantee it puts out the 1200rms but it does need a little bit of input voltage unfortunately! but a good crossover will help that. as for reliability, get one with a warranty, lol

1200 is OK I just did 145 on Linear X in SOFT TOP car (almost cabrio) with one cheap 12'' sub! I think that it would be less than 300 $ internet price in US.
I never had any problem with that amp.

Like Iīve said before, the 1200D gives you great value for the money. I did 150.0 dB with a 1200D and two 12" Infinity Perfects. (149.8 dB certified at Swedish finals).
Itīs a great amp for the price, but there certainly is a lot of better amps out there but they cost a little more though

The 1200d killing 2 600.2's? They should actually be doing to the same or close to it. Was it direct comparison? Meaning the 2 600.2's were taken out and the 1200d popped in on the same subs? I don't see how since one is a 4ohm mono amp, and the other a 1ohm HC amp, and the loads wouldn't work out right. If you were comapring to different setups, one with the PPI's and the other with the Lanzar, that's not a fair comparison.

Well it did test @1262x1@1ohm@14v in CA&E( I think that's the mag)
They are reliable and cheap.
