I don't know a whole lot about MMATS amps but I would say that if it will not stop going into protect, than whatever is causing it to go into protect is probably still there. Check your subs, voltage, and all of your wiring. If you've blown a sub it would be keeping it in protect.

No, mmats amos have this habit of going into protect and staying there. there's a couple of prcedures to get them out but I don't recall at the moment.

Not 100% on this, so dont try it unless you really want too

Anyway, I remember reading awhile back that if you shorted out the amp for just a split second (in other words, just touched the + power terminal to the - power terminal using a piece of small wire) it should "jump" out of protect.

Good luck, and let me know if that actually works.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of that.

Yeah, I'd like to know too. I just fried a sub and one of my MMATS went into protection too. I already disconnected the wires from the sub and just left the remote wire on so I could see if it would work, but It didn't. Sorry about intruding on your post but I figured since it was the same question no sense in asking again.

Hey Shaughn,

Got your message today. Sorry, I didn't call back because I'm clueless as to the procedure.

You could *try* calling mmats...good luck.

Sorry
