I am going to be purchasing two rf 12" hx2's (dvc) and i want to know if i can some how wire them so i can drop my amp down to a 1 ohm load? It would make a BIG difference on the amp.(chrome power rockford) Thank you, Drew.

Wire all 4 of the 4 ohm voice coils in parallel (plus to plus and minus to minus) and you should have a 1 ohm load. It had better be one of the old ".2" amps to drive those subs at that low of an impedance, even so, they will get really warm, so a fan is a good idea.

if u need anymore help with wiring just go to http://www.jlaudio.com they have some diagrams to look off of...oh and those rockford hx2s are dual 4ohm voice coils..not just 1 voice coil..so wire each subs voice coils in parallel.
