or is it cause ur in love with rockford be honest dukk :P hehe, i'd be hard pressed to pick I like both Rockford and MTX nice products. but hmmm i'd have to try them out both, my guess is that i'd most likely go home with the rockford. but hey try for yourself and see what happens.

and they wont be getting them untill the end of june. I work at a shop that is an authorized dealer of MTX, and they were having "problems" with the 1000ds, so they pushed them back untill end of june. Just so you know.

You must of had a faulty 2300x. Mine has played flawlessly for 1 year now. They do have protection circuitry and will shut off if triggered. I bet that 1000d will put out around 1400 watts continuous. The 2300x is only rated at 600 watts and does around 840 continuous.

I would take the directed 1100d. i know that's not the subject but i bet you will save alot of money with the directed. I've owned mtx and rockford product(still do) i like them both, hard to say which i would pick.
