honest dukk :P
hehe, i'd be hard pressed to pick I like
both Rockford and MTX nice products. but
hmmm i'd have to try them out both, my guess
is that i'd most likely go home with the
rockford. but hey try for yourself and see
what happens.

Don't forget about the DEI 1100D. I'm biased though...I love my Directed 650.

Being an Mtx fan, and have never had a problem with mine...I would say the Mtx....I have also heard that it does well over 1000 watts

Looks like I'll go with the MTX...
I just wish they'd start sending them out.
None of the shops around here has got 'em.

and they wont be getting them untill the end of june. I work at a shop that is an authorized dealer of MTX, and they were having "problems" with the 1000ds, so they pushed them back untill end of june. Just so you know.

I'd go with RF because RF has real protection circuitry. I've had mtx amps that fried, a 2300x that was barely even stable at 4ohms mono.

You must of had a faulty 2300x. Mine has played flawlessly for 1 year now. They do have protection circuitry and will shut off if triggered. I bet that 1000d will put out around 1400 watts continuous. The 2300x is only rated at 600 watts and does around 840 continuous.

I would take the directed 1100d. i know that's not the subject but i bet you will save alot of money with the directed. I've owned mtx and rockford product(still do) i like them both, hard to say which i would pick.
