I saw a car with the Audiobahn hc amps and he blew one of them. He had 8 of them and 16-10's and he was only did a 150.8db. I don't know if it was the subs or the amps but either which way I wasn't impressed.

I have been testing the AW1500 subs for about a month now. I have 2 in my mod car, almost complete, and they are taking everything that my bridged CFA 1000d amps, 2 on each sub, can dish out and after about 20 burps at 2kwatts+ each, they are just starting to get broke in.
I tried to blow the first one that I got to see if they could hndle big power, but my amps over heated befor the sub blew. ( about 2 1/2 - 3 minutes ) They get the real test this week-end in Inianapolis. I just may keep using these if they post on a Termpro like they do on a Audio Controls, no world record scores, but good ehough to get trophies at local events!

This guy at a local store has an S-10(I think that is what it was) extended cab with four 15" Audiobahn subs(don't know which model, but they were being sold for $95/each there). When he turned it on, I couldn't hear anything except his tweeters. So he hammered the gas, and BOOOOOOOOOOOM my clothes and hair started flying back(I was standing next to the open door). That was LOUD, but I can't give a db number. Most I've heard yet(then again, never have been to a comp).
