I think they are scheduled to be released this summer, but not 100% sure. I hear a lot roomers like they are PPI PC in JL heat skins, but I don’t think that JL would ever make anything not worth buying.

I spoke with a rep (regional) and he claims august as well, although they first claimed spring 2000, so it wouldn't supprise me if they underprojected the release date, however I think we can all respect thier attempt to ensure a solid product when it _is_ released. look at the w3's.. they are power hungry, but feed em till thier full and they will smoke a w6 all day long in every way.. and that was NOT supposed to happen.. but then again the w1's were just little guys, with little VC's, little magnets, and wee little dustcaps.. "sleepers" if you will, but I think we all remember how they preformed.. if you ask me JL is about more than a product, I think those guys are having a blast playing games with looks, ratings, sizes, and series standings.. why not? they rock
anyways (I rambled on) I looked at thier specs, and concepts, and was not overly impressed, but they were not unimpressive as well.. I guess they are playing with us on this one too... perhaps the monoblock 500 will produce 5000 watts of sub cooking power.. we just won't know till we try

the amps they have out right now are just their first amps....they will be coming out with newer more powerful amps they said they are comin out with amps with 1000 watts at a minimum.

Send me any question about JL amps, and I will answer them. I am the rep for Indiana and Kentucky. I also am in kinda tight with a couple of the guys at JL tech support. Some of you guys are pretty accurate with your posts. But some of you are way off. I would be more than happy to help with any information I have.
