I have a 60 amp fuse and I have only blown it once so you safe with that.. You might want to get an 80 to be safe I know I will for Db Drags.....

Mine doesn't pull that much current and I don't know why. I have a Shocker 12(wired series) hooked up to each channel, I have a 8 ga. wire running to the amp, a 30 amp fuse in the disribution block, and i running it off a stock alternator. My lights don't dim, my amp doesn't even get warm, and the fuse doesn't blow. Whats up with that?

"so that way each channel gets a 4ohm load thus a 2 ohm stereo load." If you have 4 ohms on each channel, then it is a 4 ohm stereo load...
I would rewire for 1 ohm on each channel. Or bridge them and run 2 ohms mono on each. At this level each amp will pull more like 70-75 amps... You will need at least a single 4ga from the battery too..
Man, is your power output gonna jump.....

Then that is exactaly what im going to do. No wonder my amp wasn't getting hot! i forgot that an amp only sees half the rated impedance when BRIDGED! not when it's in stereo. The way its set up right now is only temporary, i was just so anxious to hear how the shockers sounded. in still have to buid my box and get my alternator installed. im going to have 0ga running from the battery, and 4ga running to the amps as soon as i get the $$.
