How much power do these amps draw? What size fuse do they recomend? I was just wondering because I may switch to a pair of Nexus Lions Later on this summer.

I compared the Lion back to back with the Mmats last fall. I purchased the Lion at Audio Warehouse and then bought a d-300hc. The Lion's crossover seemed weak, letting too much "high" in the subs. The inputs on mine were 8! gauge, power and ground. Anyway there is no comparison between these two amps. I kept the Mmats and then bought another.

slim, what kind of amps do you currently have?

Those 800's should kick but.
What about two Memphis 16-1000's? Or two JBL powervalve bp 1200's? There is an amazing amount of choices now. The d-class amps will surely be easier on your alt.
