I only have a 115amp stock alternator and I am looking for quality and efficient amps that wont draw a lot of current from my elecrical system...What ares some brands???

Kicker's DX class D amp are around 70 to 80% Mmats is high too around 70% I don't know any more both of these are the class D type.class D is are hte mast efficient of the amps AB amp i don't how they are but they are more for your high end class D are good for Subs...

What kind of wattage are you wanting to run? My stock alt is only rated to 105 amps, I've heard of cars with 75 amp alts running without any problem, with systems that run about 600 watts to the sub and 75 watts to each mid. It also depends on what colume you listen to your music at. At low volumes, each channel is only using a few watts, or even less. Remember, following a speaker's sensitivity, just one watt of amp power provides over 85 db of sound, which is high enough to hurt hearing over a long period of time. At those normal listening volumes, any amp won't tax your electrical system. If you need power for competition burps, add a battery to store power for them. Unless you're running massive amounts of power, a class D won't save you a measurable amount of electrical current.

im looking to put 800-1000 watts to the subs and at least another 300-400 to the mids and highs.

300-400 to each mid or high, or 300-400 all around. we all know the answer to this (i hope) but i had to ask
