Peter use the remote with a switch from your 14V line. Donīt use the remote form the radio.
Depending on the input resistance the amps may overload the HU, you need to test with one and with 12 looking at the HU out in a scope, you dont need to put the speakers on the amps for this test.

what is best way to strap amps master/slave 0/180
and 1 or 2 signal inputs i have had best results with 1 input in street
would i need a power relais on the remote for all 12 amps or will my HU take it
do i need something for the input voltage for the amps or will my HU only be enough i have an audiocontrol MVC laying around
External linking module is the best way, or you can use the "phase switch" on your Alpine HU.
Remote straight from your 12v batt bank with a switch.
If you have a 4V preout, I don't think there is a need to get some sort of linedriver.

I use to just strap a pair to one coil make sure that pairs output matches the other straped pair in out put so that would be 4amps per sub but strapped to 2 pairs.
No need for 180 faze switching and make sure ya have a turn on that is going to match the voltage going into the amps so if ya have 14 its a 14volt remote turn on and if its 18 well its 18 volts at the remote turn on.
i would use a line driver for one reason you will need to keep the input voltage as strong as possable to all the amps but ya can do it the old school way and use a bunch of y connectors. just make sure ya have good rca`s and y`s to get a nice signal to all them amps.
good luck bro.

How do you going to link 2 amps in series if you're not switching 1 of them 180°? You always need it, be it with the amps internal faze switch (master/slave), external module or your HU.
I would never use 18v to the remote of the amps, most amps don't like this.

With my Atomic 5K or 7k (I think the CS work the same) the master amp controls all the settings of the slave including the phase. If your strapping 2 amps per coil 1 pair will need to be set at 180 but if your strapping 2 amps per sub leave everything at 0. Power the remotes from the 12v batt with a switch. I use 2 inputs from the HU to the master then output from the master to the slave.

Why would you set the amps different when using a strapped pair per coil or a strapped pair per woofer It totally makes no difference, the amp can't "see" this.
