is there a way to wire an amplifier with out connecting an remote turn on. or is there something that i can connect to a stock tape deck that has a remote turn on. i was thinking since i have an amplifier that has speaker inputs i can use it. but i dont have a remote turn on out put from the deck so..... please help if you can.thanks for your guys help....

you could always just run a small wire to a switch from you battery and run it to the back with your power wire, just remeber to shut it off when you get out or the next morning you might have a dead battery

or, for the fool proof approach, you could use the acc wire behind the tape deck that only sees power when the key is on, and splice into that. That way, the amp will only turn on with the key.

so if i connect the remote turn on straight to the battery the amplifier will stay on. or do you guys no what color acc wire it is for a 1995 ford windstar. thanks for your guys/girls help.

yeah it would stay on all the time....i cant find my wire program that tells me the wire color for all cars and stuff im sure someone else has it on here and they'd be able to tell you that color of that wire

I would use the power antenna wire coming from the stock deck, just make sure the wire has 12v when a tape or cd is playing.
