I'm not to sure about the 1000, have heard it doesn't come near the rated power. I recently (couple months) got a 1500d, and it is pretty awesome. If the 2200D is anything like the 1500D, it'll be a great amplifier. I was going to get one, but was a little worried about the lack of onboard fuses. --------------------

I have both. The 2200D is no joke and is definitely and upgrade from the 1500D. My next project when I get my SUV will be the 2 15" L7s on the 2200D. -------------------- Excelon-X679 Hifonics XX-Colossus Hifonics BX2200D Hifonics ZX6400 MTX Thunder 304 MTX Thunder 4200x MTX Thunder 225HO Viper 1100.5 Eclipse TI 15" DUAL 2 (146.5 @ 38hz w/XX, 146.8 w/music) Kicker CVR 15" DUAL 2 Concept CSP-15 QUAD 1 Kicker Resolution components 3-12" Pioneer 305Cs (5.94ft^3 net tuned to 33hz)

To date, I havent heard a XXX yet, but from the way people talk about them you should be very very impressed. Last I heard, there was a wait on the XXX 18s because they dont have baskets or something like that. Someone can chime in about that. -------------------- Excelon-X679 Hifonics XX-Colossus Hifonics BX2200D Hifonics ZX6400 MTX Thunder 304 MTX Thunder 4200x MTX Thunder 225HO Viper 1100.5 Eclipse TI 15" DUAL 2 (146.5 @ 38hz w/XX, 146.8 w/music) Kicker CVR 15" DUAL 2 Concept CSP-15 QUAD 1 Kicker Resolution components 3-12" Pioneer 305Cs (5.94ft^3 net tuned to 33hz)

A buddy of mine is running a BX1000D on a pair of oldschool RE SE's in a 99 Olds Aurora, sounds great, we've ran the amp so hard but nothing phases it. Barely gets lukewarm. -------------------- Having a car with a CD player is a big deal to me.
