I have 2 Memphis Mojo amplifiers. I have never run both of them at the same time, but I want to run in comps. Can these amps run at 1 ohm for burps?

I'm torn between sub purchases, I was just about to buy 2-DD 9515s, but after looking closer at rules, I want to stay with 1 9917 or 2 3512s, anyway you get the picture, I'm in install designers block, I don't have the budget for mistakes.

With one Mojo per sub you would be much better served with (2)9512s than with (2)3512s.

I run mine at .35 per amp. They do fine with that load and can even burp.

Have no idea and could care less. I test amp against amp on the meter. If one is louder than the other, then it is better suited for my car. [Wink]

Why do you need it out if they don't go into protect?

agreed.

if your not sending them into protection, then there's no need to remove it.

taking out the protection will not make the amps make more power at the same load if you can't even make the protection kick in.

Well if I wanted to go down to 0.35 I'd guess I need the protection out.

I heard that the Mojo's blow up a lot at .35 but I don't know if that is BS or what. Any opinions there?

Thanks,
Craig G

If you are an idiot they blow up at .35-ohm. You have to remove all of the protection to do that impedance, and it's very difficult to pull impedance protection and shouldn't be attempted unless you are very good with circuit boards

What kind of current do they draw at 1 ohm? Im debating on what coils to get my 9515's in, dual 1 or dual 2. It will be 1ohm daily and comps if i decide on dual 2's

I run all four of mine at .35 ohms and have for nearly a year. No issues. I have the ones with the flame logo.
