Hmm..I can get on to Napster fine also and downloaded and had someone upload as of last night. So working good for me (Man I love DSL for this)..
Also you ask why use napster? Well why change if what I want is there and I dont have a problem finding it?
Also...750,000 Gigibytes of MP3's...hmm are you sure? Do you know just how much that actually is?

Hmmmm 750 TB he he cool. But impossible. That would mean that 37,500 people would have to be sharing 20GB of mp3's. I don't know about you, Bu tI thought I was the only one with a 27.4GB Hd dedicatoed to my Mp3's. Oh well.

Hey, do you have to pay a monthly fee to use Napster now. I cant even reach the site because here @ KSU thay made is so you can't reach the napster site, the address isn't pon their server or something. Now Scour is shut down too! I guess ill have to use Imesh or somethin else, oh well...

To get around the school's block on napster, go to http://www.napigator.com Your school can't block it, and it uses the same software as napster.
Scour is shut down, there was an article, I believe in the Wall Street Journal (may have been NY Times) basically they are afraid of getting hit with the Napster type law suit and are giving it up for now.
I don't think napster has started charging yet, but they are planning on it. I'm not sure how it will work. I always thought to actually make money they should just use advertisements.

Well gentlemen I'm glad to see you treat me as such a child asking if I am sure about how many gigs they have. I assure you they do. I don't always get that much but it's never less than 300,000GB. Anyways if you disbelieve I guess that's just your loss.

Napster works just fine for me, I went on yet another downloading spree last night. Usually go on there once a week or two and download like mad. I have about 450 mp3's right now. I use Napster because it is simple to use, I find everything I want, so I see no need in other programs. I don't see 370,000GB either really, hate to say. Every time I've ever used Napster, it's usually 4-6GB of shared files, so 370,000 is kinda high. But I don't know, don't use that service.....Cable rox0rs, just need T1 at college when I transfer next year, I'll be set.
I just got Imesh, it blows chunks... only reason I say that is I have a T1 connection through school and if I can't find someone with a good connection it's stupid, and when you search it doesn't show you their connection.
