Would a single Orion 2100hcca be enough power to run 8 12w6's until I can afford something bigger? Also I know somebody that is selling some MTX2300's at a decent price and I was wondering how good of a amp are they? At DB drag shows I never see anybody running MTX amps. Please let me know. Thanks

Well lets see here. It is to early for me to figure out ohm loads But if you get that thing to mono 1 ohm that is a rated 800 watts at 12 volts so 100 watts a sub. but if you can get a good 14 volts or even 13.5 you can figure 135+ watts a sub. Kinda under powered but will work. there is a guy here that has 8 12's I think Orion XTR running off 2 225R amps. Rated at 25x2 at 4 ohms but 400x1 at 1 ohm 12 volts. He is doing 150's. So ya it will work.

Also about MTX that is a good little amp. It dont have the power of that 2100 HCCA but it is good. Also you will see some one in DB Drag in the next year with MTX. Can ya guess who
