I finally finished my box for my (2) DD 3512s tonight. Each woof has about 2 cubic feet, 400 Watts, and is tuned to... 33Hz Anyways, I can't believe how loud these things are. They go SOOOOO Low too! My head hurts bad... And my poor Honda is getting ripped apart! I love it! My system is now the loudest I've ever heard! I can't way to get it metered. The second loudest I've heard besides mine is the Infinity Demo truck, with like (14) 10" subs or somthing in it... You can look at it on their website. If you've ever thought DDs were power hungry... think again. These things are so efficient! There's so much headroom too! It pumped out the bass all night tonight, acting like is was nothing!

I had 8 of the dd 3500 series 10's and absolutly loved them. Due to financial reasons all my car audio gear is sold cept for the 9 Kove audio 10's.

I loved the way they sounded and they DO have a good SQ to them..in the right box.

FYI...my 8 10's were in 20ish cubes and 242 inches of port....with roughly 400 watts a sub.

I also did a port wars box with the 2 of the subs and about 500 watts per and well that score is another story :-)

The SQ on my box is great too... Allot better than my last subs, Polks. They're just so beefy... I think I'll tune all my boxes form now on LOW.

Well I went and got a still image of a 9500 series sub off of the website, cut it out, photoshoped it, and created an animation out it! I've made allot of sub animations before but this is the best one I've made... Most realistic at least, 'cause I got the spider to coperate with the cone too!

glad you like your DDs, 2 3515s was the reason i left shocker for DDs, these subs rip one heck of a low note. I was so impressed with them, and I still am, ive gotten 4 state records and soon to get a world next year :P but they are amazing. Here is the system i heard that made me want DDs.Loyds Pontiac Grand Prix

Another pic of my box...

I'm trying to get Sound Domain to take my pictures, but I can't upload them onto my page... That white stuff you see on my box is a primer/sealant. I'm going to spray black wrinkle finish on the whole box!!!

Probably... Before I designed my box I went and got a whole bunch of different designs from people... But the only info I used from other designs were the external deminsions (from someone else that tried to shove the biggest box they could into an Accord's trunk) And believe me, this box scrapes like hell going into the trunk, but it fits! Hehe, I think the weight of it just pushes all the metal aside It's soooo heavy, I can't imagine using 9512s or somthing way heavier in it.Plus, On the back of the box I have my PPI Amp mounted. That thing is super heavy too. All of the screws have square heads on them, and need a speial bit, so if you don't have that exact bit, those amp and subs arn't going anywhere. And if anyone actually manages to get that box out of my trunk and carry it to their vehicle, I'll congragulate them. I'm a big guy, but I couldn't carry that thing if my life depended on it. In the next few days I plan on using some 4 inch steel washers, and running a 1/4inch steel cable from my box to my trunk, and padlocking it. My back seat folds down, but you need a key to fold it down, so they can't steal it that way. And my trunk release can be locked as well, so even if they break in, they can't pop my trunk without a key
