will have about 4.5-5 cubes ported to work with..i think..MAYBEEEEE more, not sure... will be running a 81000D@2ohms...dont know if i will upgrade..might upgrade to a xtr pro 2400D later..i am thinking go 9515 cause it is stronger and can handle power upgrades easier..whatcha guys think?

id asy go for the 9500 cuz it is more efficent and because even if u never upgrade the power u just know that the sub is more reliable

I have owned both subs. You only gain from stepping up to a 9515 only if you have over 6-7 cubes and if you have over 1600 watts.
True the 9515 has more xmax, put you have to put the serious power to it it get that xmax.

the 2 gains i was also thinking is 1) the motor on the DD is ALOT stronger than the MAX
2)the low end extension is better..what ya think fourbanger...?
