Ok there is a section in my 2 guage were i cut it and put 2 8 guage peices so that i could get it through my firewall. I need to know if this is gonna be a problem or not. I have a extra battery in my rear. I have not had a problem but i want to know if i should worry about it.

I don't understand why you made a hole for the 2 pieces of 8g, instead of just making it for the 2g to begin with, but since you didn't, as long as the connections are good, and they won't get water damage, there shouldn't be a problem. I have connected a couple batteries using multiple pieces of 8g and it made no difference from a single 2g or 0/1g piece.
