nope. If you've got the money, and the wilpower to keep gains low, it's a good way to keep some nice headroom for strong, CLEAN power.

turn the gains down?? i have never heard of such a thing...j/k
you should be fine as long as its 600 clean watts. and its not like you are gonna be driving around on full blast anyways.

dont bother with turning the gains down, MMats often underrate their products, that sub will take 600WRMS no problem. And with playing music you wouldnt even be putting any where near 600 through it anyway, so dont worry
