Length x Height x (Average depth of the top and bottom ... so if the top of the slant is 10" and the bottom is 14" the average would be... 12") Kinda like Lenght x Height x (Top+Bottom/2)/1728 -------------------- 2 POWER HX2 12's and 2 powerbd1500.1's Proud Member of TEAM B.L.O ME (Team Bass Lovers Of Maine)

Calculating the cubic feet of a box is no different than calculating the volume of anything else. It is Length x Height x Width. The 1728 number is 12 x 12 x 12.
If you measure your internal dimentions in inches, then you can convert to cubic feet by dividing by 1728.
Ok now for the fun stuff....
The way to calculate the volume of a cylinder is pi x radius^2 x Length.
This comes in handy when calculating displacement of a port.
Example: 4 inch round port that is 10 inches long. 4^2 x 10 =160 cubic inches.
The way to calculate the area of a triangle is 1/2 Base x Height.
So if you need to calculate the volume of a wedge box, divide it into two parts.
Example: Top Length=10" Bottom Length=14" Height=13" Width=15" 10" x 13" x 15" = 1950" (1/2)4" x 13" x 15" = 390" 1950" + 390" = 2340" 2340" / 1728 = 1.35 Cu. Ft.
Hard to explain for me... May be some one else can do a better job. -------------------- Premier 930
