I'm going to make viewing windows in my box about 12x16. I was planning on just making a solid top and then cutting out the holes and mounting the plexi under the top surface. The pieces would need to be about 14x18. How thick would I need and where can I find some? The speakers in the boxes will be 9515's. I know select products has it but that stuff is expensive and I don't need a lot just some small pieces.

hello there, as you can see i already have a plexi viewing window, i'm using a 15" shocker extreme sub in mine with a planet audio vector d giving it about 1200 rms and i used 1/2" thick plexi, you could get some scraps from a guy named eric, i believe he's projlaudio on here. or something like that, you could also get some plexi from a guy named bobby gately, he's a good guy. very well respected. in your case being such a huge window, if you're into spl you may want to use 3/4" plexi, which bobby should have as well. hope i helped ya out
