yes it can run at 1 ohm all day long with no problems
you can run at 1/2 ohm for burps at comp's
im not sure the xact power out but the 1000d puts out about 1600-1800 peak power at 1 ohm with a good power supply

Protection circuitry is coming on.

Your box is ported isn't it?

There are some bds that cannot do 1 ohm all day long but this is mainly with very large ported boxes.

They do not like running with less than 11v at any load.

BFTK's are sealed and yes the reason for the amp cutting out is the case of a bad ground!

Do you guy think the 1500.1 would be stable at 1.5ohms? My setup is gonna be 2 10 W7's.

I would use the JBL bp1200.1, but I would like more power.
