I had a box made for my DD9512 and it's pre-drilled for my 8/32" x 1 5/8" screws with 8/32" x 1/4" "T Nuts". Hoever, how in the hell am I supposed to get the "T Nuts" on the back of the screws? Now what do I do? It's not possible to use the vent to get to it either.

mount the t nuts into the box. there is a nut that u can do that with and i can't think of the name of it at the moment.

but it has cutters kinda on it and it will put its self up into the wood.

either that or before putting in the subs glue the t-nuts into place let them dry but make sure they are as tight to the box as possible then put your screws in. Ive used this many times I bet it would work even better if you used a self lockin nut on the back as csuho said above.

you guys...T nuts with the little spikes worked awesome in my audiobahn box i made, i'd use those like you are all saying. and it's a lot harder to strip those than the wood or plexi is. if you don't have the spiked t nuts, i would find t nuts either with the spikes or just slightly larger than the hole size so you can hammer them into place...
