I was just touring around some sites and found these amps. They are rated at 1000x1 @4 ohm. Does anyone know if they actually will produce that? Or have any experience at all with them?

NO, it won't do rated power. I read a review of that amp in a mag a couple of months ago. If i recall correctly, it wasn't even close to rated power which surprised me since it is a solid name brand. I told the guys at the local shop(sell clarion also), and they were a little surprised as well. The magazine might have been Autosound and Security or maybe Carsound(or something like that). It was in the past couple of months though. The local shop is clearing all of their clarion amps out too.

I read the same thing, its not a bad amp but it didnt even meet its required power where as other brands beat it by 20% or better.
