Word is that JL is redesigning or designing a new line of components that would be like you said, the W7 of mids and highs...some prototype JLs won the Expert class at IASCA this year....

Yes there has been some talk about a ZR line of product that would be a high end line but don't expect to see nothing for another year or so.
As for the guy that won the expert class at the IASCA Finals this year, that's Mark Ligget and he used off the shelf product that you can buy at a local store. XR components, 12W3's and a 500/1 amplifier, all factory equipment, no modifications.
Any competitor that has ever used our products in competition uses off the self product. There has never been any modified product used in competition.
Hope that clears things up for you guys.

I have heard a little convo about the ZR line and from what I have been told JL will be targeting these speakers to compete with the likes of high end component sets such as focal. Other JL new I have heard is that over the next 18-24 months JL will release more new products than they have during the whole time they have been in business. This is due to some developments in product testing that make it possible for them to do extensive testing before the speaker is every built. I can't wait to see some new JL stuff.

Super 6's??????. I'm going to assume you are refering to a newer W6 since that woofer is 8 years old and we have been slowly dis-continuing certain models for the past year or so.
The 10W6 and 12W6 will remain in production for half of 2002.
So what are we going to replace it with..........come to CES and see!!!!!!!
Sorry, but that's all I can tell you for now.

Yeah, just wondering why the W7s are taking so long to get onto the market?
I'm not trying to be a pain, but they seem to be delaying the release of the 13.5s slightly, and the 12s are only trickling out in relatively small numbers.
Here in the UK, I don't think there are any. At all.
Also would it be possible to have the T/S parameters for these subs?
