WOuld that sound bad? I mean it may not get as loud but being my first system i doubt i would tell a difference and neither would anyone else. as long is it wouldnt sound "bad" thats cool. but if its not gonna be as loud as ported or whatever i dont care. any opinions? powered by say MMATS D200? (800-900 rms)

IMO i would try something like a 1.2 cube sealed box...something right in the middle of DD's specs

i think the 2012s look pretty good, i wish i had found them before my JL's cause in the same box i have right now, they would be louder with almost the SQ and they would have been cheaper. Why do you choose not to port them? AC tell me how they sound

well see u probally hadnt seen some of my old posts, i had those picked out with the same amp and would get them in a ported box BUT my parents think i need hatch space for college soon and just for the space. i kind of agreed with them. so then i had to switch to sealed. Like i said, subs wont sound bad sealed? its just they wont be as loud? as long as the 2012s dont sound BAD sealed than id like to try DD.
