i just recentlt spraypainted my back and side windows. I did this because it was cheap and it looks good from the outside. I was wondering if you guys think that tint looks better or spray paint. I drive a 300zx, do you think i should go tint or should i keep it sprayed?

I always use spray paint when i put a wall in something. The trick is to use flat black paint. Gloss paint will crack and peel after a short while. Krylon Ultra flat black is the best ive found so far.

I think that spray paint is definately better than tint if you don't need to see out your windows. Besides if the paint peels off you can fix it in a matter of minutes.

i had tint alrady, but you could still see through, so i spray painted over the tint, that way if i ever go to sell the car and they spaz about the paint....peel off the tint, and off comes the paint with it....

as in paint the windows themselves??? scraping paint off windows sucks...

i have real light tint on my rear side windows and i just spray painted over the tint so if i get pulled over and nailed for it or sell the car all i have to do is take the tint off. The back window is layered with a 5% over a 50% and with the wall in there it's practically impossible to see in the back window. At night when the dome light is on you can see a little bit...but how often is that?

bottom line...paint is better cuz even a flashlight won't show thru

No it is not see through, but neither is the rear of bigrigs, delivery trucks, ect. I know that is Cal, all you need is both side mirrors and it is legal.

If you have a car with a wall in it then seeing out the back window is useless..so why pay 150.00 to have the rear window tinted just so you can put a bg wooden box in the way ..its cheaper just to ratle cn it ..olus it dosent look bad either

I did the same thing when i put my first wall in. I used "Cummins Satin Black Engine paint". It's heat resistent and keeps the back rather cool on hot days. I got the paint from work.

Works AWESOME, and looks good too!!! Haven't had any problems with cops either!!!! =)

The things people think of! Spray painting windows huh, who would a thunk it (poor car audio enthusiasts obviously). I'd be affraid to do it but since I'm so damn poor myself I just may look into it, lol.
