We are getting ready to redo the truck and I was wondering what inspires you in the install. Where do you get your ideas? From a dream a friend an install you have seen at a show or a person? Just thought I would ask. And why did you pick the equipment you are running?

Good question. I usually have an idea of want I want to do or focus on in the install. I will sometimes ask specific Q's here on termpro or DB Don's site as well as consult a few friends that compete and install. I will admit that there have been times when I've been so focused on my install at hand that I have actually dreamed about it. Wierd I know, but I'm sure many of you have as well. I chose the equipment that I'm running now because American Bass is a local(state of Ohio)company and I have spoken with Bob on numerous occasions and he has always been more than willing to help.
When I need to come up with a new or unique idea I "get in the zone" by playing video games. On the Playstation I go for GT, GT2, Heart of Darkness, Wild 9, and R/C Stunt Copter.
On the PC at work, and yes the boss understands, any of the Test Drives, and Test Drive Off Road games.

If I had the time to see through a few more of my ideas then I know I'd be a hell of a lot poorer, but it'd be fun. Dreams and just random things such as video games are true.

When we were working on our chevette the most and still some now I would think about it all the time. When I woke up I was thinking about it and when I went to sleep I was thinking about it. I know you were the same way Lance. I'm glad we've taken some time off from it lately because I feel less stressed right now because of that.

Stress is for sure what we have been pushing to the max. I would like the truck to be ready for heat wave. I an sure it will not be ready due to we are missing some stuff for the install. I am aslo inspired by friends. They push for the best and tell us if its not up to par. I hope we have it ready by finals lol. Rob keeps saying if its not ready we dont go! Man that would not be funny. So I dont know why he jokes like that. Have you ever had a way off idea that worked? I always wanted to try one but Rob said it would be a waist of a sheet of wood.
