The will retail for 800. Thats what the regional rep told me. Should be able to get for close to 600 from stores.

Thank God, MTX has an employee purchase program. I can get 2 of them for $400, thanks MTX. Our Kenwood Tech is putting 2 15's in his Explorer with 4 new MTX 1000D's. Nice SPL system for only $1000, his price. Some people are lucky, I'll withhold his name so he don't get fired for not using Kenwood subs and amps.

Retail on them is $999, I saw the price sheet. And also, if I recall correctly, you cannot employee purchase a RFL (unless they changed that just recently). Also, the rebuild kit is a cool idea, but unless they offer extra rebuild kits (send them 50 bucks, get another cone/coil) your still going to have to send it in after the second time anyways?

Why don't you call DD have them put one of their high roll EROM surrounds on backwards and kick the RFL in the a$$

AS an employee of CC, I can tell you that we can get them through accomodations, and they are more than $200 each. I'm not sure if they come with rebuild kits, but, they are available through MTX. And they are rather inexpensive through accomodations..

How long do you have to work there before you get those discounts? I should just get a job there, buy a bunch of stuff for cheap, and then quit and get back to my real job.

Rebuild kit is a great idea...

List some reason subs blow... Most of the comps I have been to where I have seen subs blow (mainly Strokers) it was due to user error... Too much power or clipped power or wrong box size... I feel having the kit allows you to test your setup and if you blow the sub doing so you are at least not SOL you can rebuild the sub and keep going...

you cant simply buy a huge ammount of stuff as an employee of circuit city, CC gets huge discounts because if I remember correctly they are the largest distributor and retailer of mtx in the US? I think thats right.

vegas 10 can get stuff dirt cheap, but I dont think they will just let him buy to his hearts content. They let you buy for personal use, not like 100 amps and 200 subs.

Ask him about it.

Do NOT flood me with emails asking for equipment. Can't do it. Sorry.

If you want this stuff this cheap, get a job at CC, then order what you want. I think you have to be here 90 days to qualify for dealer accomadations.

VegaS10~
I wouldn't e-mail you trying to buy stuff. I get huge discounts at a local shop because when i started going there 4 years ago i delt with a guy that is now one of the head guys there now... so he always takes 15-30% off everything for me now just because i've delt w/ him since the beginning for both of us. People know i get those deals and are always trying to get me to buy their stuff for them, but i'm not going to shaft my hook up like that so they get mad at me. So basically i'm trying to say i know where you're coming from.

Not exactly sure of any plans yet. I spoke with some people at Daytona and showed them some pics. One of the rep's even recognized the truck from Termpro..scary, Regardless, I MAY be looking inot other lines right now, but, not sure.

In other words, I don't know.
