call them and get at diagram that unit should be 12v anyway but it has a transformer in it to make it 110 120 just call them I know that it can be done I almost put a bss omnidrive in mine but it was 2500 used

FYI, Once you play with the rane, you can't send it back in for repair without them undoing your changes and putting it back to stock (its UL listing and what have you... liability issue if they send back your half as 12 volt conversion and it burns your car to the ground).
