I'm just sitting here looking at all of my Audiocontrol gear and I was thinking about changing some stuff in my van. In the past, I've always had my 4.1 in there but I was just wondering what you guys would do? Keep the 4.1 in there or switch over to the Epicenter? In case someone asks, I also have an Overdrive and an ESP-3.

I used to have an ESP-2. Loved it, but you have to be very careful with the level control, otherwise, you will end up with noticeable hiss at low and no volume. I currently use an epicenter in both of my vehicles and love it for both apps. It does what it says. Never used the 4.1, but I don't see why you couldn't use it with the epicenter as it serves a separate purpose, but be careful using it in front of the epicenter as it will make the epicenter reproduce some nasty sounding bass. If you head offers separate sub control, put the epicenter on that, then put the 4.1 on your highs only. If the epicenter is a 1st generation, you will only be able to use 1 channel of the epicenter as it will not function in 2 channel mono.
