I'm moving up to this processor along with an IVA-W200 HU. I'll be running 4 tweets, 2 mids, 2 midbass, and 1 sub. I'll be using a JL 300/4 for the tweets, 2-JL 300/2's for the mids and midbass, and a JL 500/1 for the sub.I'll be running all active. Can I do a high-pass to one set of my tweets (on the A-pillar) at 10-12kHz? If I'm not mistaken I'll be able to do xovers for all 8 componens with the 701 which will just leave the sub ( I'll do the sub xover with the amp). Am I correct? Thanks, Martin

How do you plan using the subwoofer amp's crossover? I'm assuming you will be using a digital in from the headunit. What will you use for the subwoofer in? I'm not sure that headunit will allow you to use RCA's and the digital out. It might, I just don't know. Even if you can though, you won't be able to EQ or time align the subwoofer.

If you are able to use the subwoofer crossover from the amp you would use:

1. Sub out (and turn the center on) for the midbass. Highpass and lowpass available.
2. Rear to Midrange (bandpass)
3. Front 2 to Tweeters (doesn't matter which set)
4. Front 1 to Tweeters (doesn't matter which set).

Good point...I hadn't thought of that.Could I just use capacitors for the tweets on the A-pillars and do all other xovers with the 701?
