im not sure how it can be done, but i think it will have to be in the form of a processor type, like and audiocontrol mvc with only one input and two extra outputs. So,

does anyone know of a line driver that has a master volume control? Even if its a indash mount one i could always extend the volume pot out of the unit.

Thanks for any ideas folks.

so..thats a pretty kick ass little gismo but how would i control all the amps with it? Isn't there a certain amount of signal loss going passthrough on amps, or do they keep it strong and the signal loss i'm thinking of is from y splitters.

well, you can add a line driver after it, and then add your Y connectors, and then use that gismo as your volume control from the dash for the sub amps.

for a cheap way to rca those amps, look at this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/4-NEW-PAIR-Orion-Wired-Gold-RCA-Y-Adaptors-BULK-BUY_W0QQitemZ5851848234QQcategoryZ39744QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

he usually relists all the time, same kind of deal, you would want 8 packs, so 2 bids, but for that price, cant hurt to get all 4 for 34 bucks total. plus since they are metal, you wont have to worry about bending the wires too many times and going bad.

i bought 4 bulk packs from him, just to have around the shop. couldnt beat the price for 34 bucks shipped total, and it sure beats standard y connectors, seems that i always have probs with standard Y's. I am doing the same thing for the volume controller, so thats why i knew [Wink]
