I just got an Audio COntrol EQL (not sure which model at the moment), and besides the Power light there are two other lights. One, which says Overload and the other says 2 Volt Optimum....now my question is, what does the 2 Volt Optimum mean?? Thanks

The EQL likes to see a 2 volt input from the source. When you get a light on the 2 volt optimum you have it matched right; of course, the overload light is what it says. It will tell you to back the gains down. It has been a while since I used one.I hope this helps.

The 2v light likes to flicker on and off....never just stays completly on...any suggestions for that?

It is okay if it flickers. It is almopst impossible to get it to stay on unless you are listening to a single steady tone. Set you volume on you head unit to your usual isteneing volume and adjust until you get the 2v light to come on. just watch the overload light. that should get you close. The best way to set it up is with a RTA. Good luck!
