I just installed a 7 band old school kenwood EQ in my truck last night.... Everytime it comes on or i switch songs a popping noise comes through my speakers. Is this normal? Anyway to make it stop? I was thinking it was just the speakers picking up signal but I dont know for sure. Please help! - Justin

sounds like the gain on the amps are set to high, the eq is boosting the signal and the amps are set high enough to encure distortion. Try readjusting the gain structure.
