Now of course I use a DMM to set up my line driver, but what is the best way to adjust it for daily driving? It's easy enough for comps, I just pick the right voltage for my burp frequency and all is good. But of course the signal is dynamic and changes at every hz, so if I want to adjust my gain all the way down and still get good output from my amp, what is the best way to set the line driver? Should I just adjust the voltage to what my box is tuned to so that I get max output at that frequency or is there something that I don't know about

you should be setting your line driver once and forgetting about it. use your volume from there on out.
