When igot my 1st amp installed by a shop since my pyramid amp didn't have a crossover, i had to get an electronic crossover. the power wore of the crossover was connected to the power connection on the amps and i think the ground and remote wires were also connected to the terminals on the amp also. is it okay to do that? or is it better to have the wires not connecting to the amp. you know what i mean.

Depending on if the shop used adequate gauge wire on the amp, shouldn't be a problem. The crossover won't draw much power. The remote wire is the only worry, and it can handle 2 devices connected fine.
