I'm in the market for a 3 or 4 band eq/mastervolume. I'm only gonna use 1 input pair and one output pair. I don't need any xovers. but I would like the highest preout voltage possible coming out of it (amps accept up to 12v rms input) so toss me out some suggestions. thanks

How about an Audiocontrol 4.1. It has 5 bands, I think has an output voltage upwards of 9Vrms, and switchable amber/green illumination. Comes in a 1/2 DIN size.

You can get pre-amps that do what you'd like from so many sources. Linear power used to make my favorite one, AC, Nak, Zapco, PPI, Orion, I cant even list everyone who used to make one....
