I was wondering what you all think of the older symmetry? Is it capable of my needs to tune a pair of subs, a front component set, and some midbass 8" drivers? Should i look into a trunk-mount xover and in-dash eq? I would like to be able to tune the sound on the go so i NEED an in-dash eq. As for a crossover, i mainly would like a unit similar to the Epicenter. I'll let you in on a secret: I HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT PROCESSORS, and was just wondering about what would be good to start with. Thanks

Rock; As far as processors go it depends on what your intesions are for using it. If you just want a little control a dash mount will work fine, they also make some full din sized digital eq's that give you some more options (ie. Digital Sound Processing, imaging adjustment, more bands, presets and the capibility to save a setting) A trunk mount is nice but is designed to fill gaps that you system is lacking or supress parts that are over emphisized. So what ever you intensions there is a processor for the job.
